Duration
The IELTS test lasts about 2 hours and 45 minutes, including Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules.
Exam Mode
IELTS can be taken on paper or computer at official test centers. The Speaking test is done face-to-face with an examiner.

Listening
🎧 4 sections with 10 questions each
📝 Different types of questions (MCQs, note completion, etc.)
⏳ Duration: 30 minutes
Reading
📖 3 passages with increasing difficulty
🔢 40 questions covering different reading skills
⏳ Duration: 60 minutes
Writing
✍️ Task 1: Describe a graph, chart, or diagram (Academic) / Letter writing (General)
📝 Task 2: Essay writing on a given topic
⏳ Duration: 60 minutes
Speaking
🗣️ Part 1: Introduction & general questions
🗣️ Part 2: Talk about a topic (Cue card)
🗣️ Part 3: Discussion with the examiner
⏳ Duration: 11–14 minutes
