In 2023, the Andy & Barbara Gessner College of Nursing worked closely with the MGM Institute of Health Science in Mumbai and the Krisna Institute of Medical Sciences in India to set up a Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Additionally, UH has worked with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations to enhance research and teaching in Tamil language, literature, and culture.
